AutoPollen Congress in Córdoba
As reported by Red Española de Aerobiologìa, last week, the annual meeting of the European program AutoPollen (EUMETNET) took place at the University of Córdoba. This program is working on the creation of an international network of automatic stations capable of continuously detecting pollen and fungal spores. This makes it possible to provide reliable, immediate, and useful data both to citizens and to the scientific and healthcare communities. From our lab, professor Roberto Albertini participated.
📍 The annual meeting of the project was held this week at the Rabanales Campus of the University of Córdoba, bringing together experts from more than 10 countries to coordinate efforts and continue advancing in this European challenge, led by MeteoSwiss.
🔬 With this initiative, Europe takes a step forward toward better environmental monitoring, improved preventive healthcare, and more accurate information services for people with allergies.
